Neston Riverside WI Newsletter March 2024
14/03/2024
Dear Members,
I hope everyone’s beginning to feel the possibility of Spring and enjoying the lighter nights. Thanks again to Mike Pill for his photographic talents last month, a real success.
Our meeting this month is a social event so be prepared to join in and relax.
Sue will be running our sales table so please have a search around for anything you can bring. It’s a good time of year to think about plants for the garden.
Thank you again for supporting the food bank and thank you to Jennifer for delivering our contribution.
Andrea and Adrienne will be running the raffle, thank you to them both.
Sue and Dianne are this month’s tea ladies thank you to them for volunteering. Please sign up for future months if you can, everything is supplied all that’s required is serving the drinks and washing up afterwards. The alternative will be to present you all with a rota which is what we used to do.
The ‘Glass Deva’ craft workshop. We are booked in on Monday 25th March at 2 o’clock so plenty of time to have lunch first if you choose. A couple of members haven’t yet paid so please bring cash with you. (£20)
Philippa has organised a tour of The Storyhouse for Monday 10th June at 10 O’Clock cost £5.00. Please sign up if you’d like to go.
Philippa is also organising a visit to Chester mosque, more details to follow.
