Neston Riverside WI Newsletter March 2022
Committee: Pauline Hignett, Philippa Pill, Janice Harris, Gill Hilditch, Jennifer Ricketts, Sue Kendall, Sue Evans, Christine Byrne and Lesley Williams.
Dear Members,
Spring is on its way and we’re looking forward to our second meeting of 2022, it’s hard to believe after all that’s been happening.
Our February meeting was well attended considering what foul weather it was and things felt almost normal. There are still some members we haven’t seen for a while and I hope that they feel able to join us this month, we miss them.
Our speaker is Tina Saunders with a talk entitled ‘The Queen’s Wardrobe’ which sounds really promising. The sales table is still in support of the knitting group so any contributions will be very welcome.
It’s difficult to plan ahead but we have been thinking about our May meeting and Jubilee celebrations. Advance warning to wear red, white and blue if you can. More information to follow.
Our subs are due in April and as we are up and running this will need to be the full amount of £44 cheques payable to Neston Riverside WI. Prompt payment would be really helpful. Thank you.
