Neston Riverside WI Newsletter January 2024
12/01/2024
Dear Members,I hope it’s not too late to wish you all Happy New Year. I hope Christmas went as planned and you are beginning to get back to normal.
Our December party was fun, I’ve never seen so many strange drawings to say nothing of quizzes and dingbats.
Our first meeting this year is about cyber safety which I hope will be useful to all of us. We will be collecting for the foodbank and Jennifer has kindly offered to deliver our donations. We will vote to decide which local charity we will support this year during the meeting.
Sue will be running our sales table so please have a search around for anything you can bring. Look at some of those Christmas gifts and have a think.
Andrea and Adrienne will be running the raffle, maybe I’ll win this year!
Lyn and Trish are this month’s tea ladies and Brenda and Marie have signed up for February. We’ll be looking for more volunteers for the coming months.
Philippa has kindly and efficiently sent out flyers explaining various opportunities planned by the Federation. There will be boards to sign up for these at the meeting.
Resolutions are back on our agenda and we will be voting on which one we support at our meeting. The details of the 2024 proposals are in the December WI Life so please re read those if you can.
