NEWSLETTER NO 80

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE

ILLNESS - Please see Julie or any member of the committee if you know of any of our members who may need our support.

COMMITTEE MEETING – All members are welcome to come to committee meetings to see what goes on. The next committee meeting will be on the 14th February in the Church Hall at 7.30. We would be delighted to see interested/curious members.

QUESTIONNAIRE – We would appreciate it if you would take time tonight to fill in a questionnaire to help us see what you want from our branch of the WI and how we can improve what is on offer.

CHARITY SUPPORT – Having supported Little Actors we wonder which charities members would be interested in supporting in the future. It has to be a small local charity, not a national one as we have to abide by WI guidelines. Please see a member of the committee if you have any requests.
Shall we use the money raised from some of our sales tables for charity? Ideas please.

RESOLUTIONS – Please vote tonight so we can collect the figures and send them off.

LOTTERY – As described in the Cheshire News, Cheshire Federation is considering starting a lottery for individual members. They need to know how many members would be interested in paying a £10 annual fee, with 3 winning tickets being drawn quarterly so that they can decide whether or not to go ahead. We will be asking for a show of interest at the meeting.
