ILLNESS - Please see Julie or any member of the committee if you know of any of our members who may need our support.

NEWSLETTER – A reminder that the newsletter can always be found on the website. It is very easy to access. Anyone wanting help is welcome to see Philippa.

The next committee meeting will be on 11th October in the Church Hall at 7.30 and the November meeting will be on the 8th November, also in the Church Hall at 7.30. We would be delighted to see interested/curious members.

CHARLES THOMPSON MISSION –If members agree we can buy backpacks for this charity to fill instead of shoe boxes. The items suggested are:
razor blades, small shaving foam, hats, gloves, scarves, small torches, snacks, e.g.cereal bars, body sprays, travel tampax/pads, dry shampoo, small packs of tissues, wet wipes
They request that any products have a 12 month use-by date so they can be used the year round.
We can also collect toys if members feel that's appropriate.

PREVIOUSLY:

AIRBUS -Members had a fascinating visit to the Broughton Airbus site. After an informative video we were bussed to the huge factory that makes the Airbus 380 wings. Very impressive.
