WEBSITE – It is proposed that our WI will have its own Facebook page. Philippa and Judith will set this up and details will follow. Is anyone a keen twitter user and if so would you be prepared to set up and run a twitter account for our WI? Please contact Philippa if this is something you are keen to do.

SWG – tickets are selling well but some are still available tonight.

SALES TABLE – The theme for the June sales table will be potty about plants.

RIVERSIDE DINERS – 2 outings have been planned:25th May at the Sonargaon at 6.30 and 24th August 1pm at The Country Mouse

RIVERSIDE READERS – The next meeting of the book club is on Monday 5th June at 7.30pm at Pauline’s house.

RIVERSIDE DRAMA GROUP – Rehearsals continue on Wednesday 24th May at 7.30 at the Methodist Church Hall. It is not too late to join us if anyone is interested. Please contact Janice or any member of the committee.

RIVERSIDE CLICKERS – Meet on Thursday 25th May at 2pm at Net’s Cafe for a relaxing, sociable event.

CHATSWORTH - 6th September

SILK MUSEUM – A visit is being proposed to the Silk Museum if enough members show an interest.

FOLLYFIELDS NURSERY – We had a very interesting visit to the garden centre and spent much longer there than we expected to. We were shown around by the owner, one of the few independent growers left.

VINTAGE TEA – 21st July 2pm to 4pm. Tickets £2.50. There will be a sales table with hand made items.

SEGWAY OUTING – 28th June. Final details next meeting.

AIRBUS -17th August at 11am. We need some basic personal details in advance, please see board.

HAUGHTON HALL – 9.30 at the Royal Oak. Don’t forget your sandwiches and chair or rug.

ANNUAL MEETING LIVERPOOL – Doors open at 9.30. The meeting is from 10.30 to 16.45

BURSARY – applications to Julie by the June meeting please.

BIRTHDAY MEETING - 19th July. £28.00 and menu choices to be handed in before the June meeting please, see board tonight.

Calendars and diaries for 2018 – need to be ordered soon, £3.20 a calendar, £4.60 a diary

The speaker for the June meeting will be Ken Pye on the Joy of Scousers and Scouse
